Probably too late for you, but if you can get some pure alcohol (not lesser stuff at drug stores - you need 99% isopropyl), you can clean the contacts between the lcd and the motherboard. Use a toothbrush and clean them up, and see if that helps.

Well, the stock ROM did not work with AT&T (which I have), and I could not figure it out, so I sold it for parts. The buyer informed me that it worked perfectly with TMobile.
