I think "HD" is 720P to mobile Youtube. Are they really grainy or are you seeing blockiness? It should scale up to 1080P pretty nicely even if it's not the native resolution being sent over the network. Edit: ha, looks like I haven't used the new youtube app yet :)...

Nah, they're developing new software features somewhere, and they can't develop on Nexus 4's forever. They must have some new partnership with *someone* to make a nexus phone, to make a reference device with reference (platform) software.

The pics are on your SD Card? Did you try opening them on a PC or emailing them to yourself to see if they work on a computer? I've gone through a couple of cheap SD cards, for some reason they keep dying on me, wonder if yours is going bad.

Mine was getting worse but I traded it in. I thought about trying to convert it to a MAXX with a bigger battery but gave up when the new Droids came out. good luck...
