I had no problem casting a Chrome tab with my Win 7 PC. When I set up my wife's 5 year old Vista laptop, it doesn't detect the Chromecast device even if it is in the same room and using the same WiFi. Does it have to differences in OS or power?

You are right. It only required accessing the Netflix app on the iPad to get it working.

I just received my Chromecast from Best Buy. I spent an hour trying to figure out how to view my Chrome tab on my older Nexus 7. I found out that it required a Chrome extension. When I tried to get it from the Chrome Web Store, I found out that it wasn't supported on Android Chrome!! How stupid...

I use Cloud Print with great results. Just hit the share option and use that app.

After upgrades of Yahoo Mail and EBay apps, I no longer get any audio notifications of new messages or sales. I didn't see any setting in each app for this. The Nexus setting is on for notifications with the default sound. Am I missing another place to check or do I have to contact the app...

Flash works just fine using xScope browser . I tried several flash demos with no problem. Firefox did a lot of crashing. .
