    Let's talk Kernel,ROMs, etc.

You probably already got this, but only use that mirror link for the gapps because the actual ROM file on that mirror are for the GSM Nexus.

Here's a mirror to get the gapps for Paranoid Android. https://docs.google.com/folder/d/0B4Dp2qRui0u0V01wUFRKZm9YOUk/edit?pli=1# The new 1.2 version is available for the GSM Nexus (I'm going to try it out this afternoon). It should be out this afternoon. I'm not sure how long it'll be for it...

It's really a high quality ROM. You can also change the DPI for each individual app so if the default for an app is a little small, you can easily change it without affecting everything else. I'm totally hooked on this ROM.

If you want to try something less stock and more innovative, I highly recommend the Paranoid Android rom. It's based on CM9, but it has a hybrid tablet/phone interface that uses some of the features in tablet apps (like 2-pane Gmail and 3D YouTube) and a notification center on tablets. It's...

Anyone else thinking about skipping the GNex for Nitro HD?

Beware of LG if you ever want updated software. I currently have their top of the line phone, the LG Thrill 3D, and it still runs Froyo. The Gingerbread update has been "coming shortly" since its launch on day 1. It was promised by September, but even now, we have no idea when it'll be released...

    Free Games??

I don't believe so. I got the AT&T version, and it only came with the games listed above (no special offers). The Gamesoft store has a buy 1 get 1 free deal though.

LG Thrill Arriving at Retail Stores!!

It doesn't come with Swype, but I installed it on mine. I'm using the Beta and it's working flawlessly. The LG Thrill isn't shipping with Gingerbread, unfortunately, but LG claims an update should be out in September/October. That's so odd. I haven't had any problems with my LG Thrill's touch...

    LG Thrill internet not working

Hmmm, I also have the AT&T branded LG Thrill and the internet is working just fine. I got it on Saturday and it worked from day 1. Is it a problem with your AT&T account perhaps?

I can attest to this spec. My Atrix averages at about 300 kbps on the upload speed. I don't think I've ever gone above 350 kbps while using it here in Los Angeles, CA. I haven't had a chance to test it in other cities yet.
