No it does not scratch the phone. The only reason I mentioned the clear part being a scratch magnet was that it really collects scratches! Mine is in a holster most of the time and it had turned completely opaque. I since have gone with no case... feels better and looks better.

Have had one since I got the phone in September. No issues except the clear part is a major scratch magnet.

I just got the update and it actually fixed it for me. Disconnected from car BT and notification sounds were intact. Guess I can get rid of the VM shortcut on home screen....

It works. Just select video chat in the preferences. It maybe gets 15fps at best, so it isn't exactly great.

Unless you are running a home replacement, it does not switch.

Talk about sad... My Eris died and VZW is dragging their feet to get me a replacement because I rooted. I am forced to use a Moto V265 from 6 years ago!

I just hooked mine up to a G4 at work no problem. Check the cable and see what ASP (Apple System Profiler) is saying is connected on USB... and you have to use a USB 2.0 cable... if that helps.

Unless they lower the Moto Droid's cost, the Incredible could not replace the Eris as it is not an entry level phone.
