S23 Ultra - scratches too easily?

    Of course not.

Anyone still holding onto that Note 20 ultra?

Man, I'll admit... I miss my Note 20 Ultra. When I bought my refurbished one in 2024, it didn't last long before it started to have issues... Screen burn, and the camera began to act janky. By the end of me having it after a year, it basically wouldn't focus anymore. Which was sad, because...

S23 Ultra - scratches too easily?

Anyone else had this problem? I think the S23 Ultra scratches more easily than ANY device I've ever had. I always keep mine in my front right pocket, with NOTHING else in there besides my phone. Everything else, wallet, keys, etc, I keep in my other pocket. And yet, still, my device still gets...

JANUARY 2026 update. EoL for the S21 series?

This really makes me sad :( I still prefer my S21 Ultra over any device honestly. I am going to be keeping mine around regardless. I have an S23 Ultra, but find myself using the S21U quite a bit more in some scenarios. Best device I've ever used.

    DECEMBER update

I just got this yesterday. So, I am assuming either this is the last update, or there is one more left? The S21 Ultra was released either in January or February of 2021, right? I think the pattern seems to be that Samsung sort of issues a final update around the actual anniversary mark of it's...

Who is still using a S23 series phone?

I'm using an S23 Ultra. But.. I did just get mine in August. However, I am not one of those that HAS to have the latest and greatest. Usually two years old or so does it nicely for me. I am more concerned with cost. Any scenario where I would have to pay 800-1000 dollars for a phone like the...

S21 Ultra is going on five years old.

That is CRAZY! I got mine in October of 2022. I've had one by my side ever since. I had originally purchased my factory unlocked, Phantom black 256gb model from Ebay refurbished. It was, surprisingly, a good purchase and I had no issues for the entirety that I had it up until my son decided to...

One UI 8 on factory unlocked S23 Ultra

    Anyone alive out there?

    New security update today?

    Must be an issue somewhere.

One UI 8 on factory unlocked S23 Ultra

I got the One UI 8 update today on my factory unlocked S23 Ultra which runs on T-Mobile. Hmmm. I'm not really honestly seeing that much difference. I did notice my camera acting a bit odd, like it was having trouble focusing. Hopefully this isn't an issue. The last One UI update on my S21U...

    S21 series-AUGUST 2025 update

Awesome. I believe there are two security updates left. I still say I think the S21 Ultra is probably my favorite device ever. Another close contender is the Note 10+. Just sad that the Android 15 update screwed my device. Who knows, maybe I'll put my sim back into it occasionally for some some...

    2025_ August Security

Honestly, the main problems it was giving me were involving the camera. Other then than that, the other problems I could overlook. I kind of wish I would have traded in my S21 Ultra and kept the Note 20 Ultra instead. It is a unique device, especially in this day in age. It still worked fine...

    Show us your pictures.

Some more shots recently. Also, not sure why, but in certain instances while using the 12mp mode, it seems to blow out highlights. Doesn't happen with all images, though. This one looks similar to that. Just look at the color of the weeds/plants in this.

Pixel owner tried to convert to Samsung and now I hate it

Your first mistake IMO was opting to go for the S23, the base model. Unless you specifically need a smaller phone, if you wanna do it right and get a better experience with Samsung phones, always go for either the Plus or the Ultra model IMO.
