Keep in mind that you may lose some widgets if you move the app to the microSD card. If you lose a widget, just move the app/data back to the internal memory.

Try Nova launcher. There's a fee for the Nova Launcher Prime ($5?) and to get the on icon notifications, you need the companion app TeslaUnread (which I think also costs a few bucks) but they're both worth it. I use both Nova and TeslaUnread on both my previous Nexus 6P and my current G6...
