From above - Greg, Walcolm is right and how he describes it is how it works for me, if the eye icon is there all the time as you say, it isn't working correctly. The eye should come on just before your screen times out to check if you are looking, replies above suggest a battery pull would fix...

I have the same problem on Samsung Galaxy S3, so does my other half with same phone. It blinked once for me since the update (and I've received loads of messages since then) and that seemed to be when I was reading a message in the pop-up notification and received another message from the same...

I made the switch from iPhone 4 to S3 4 days ago, you won't regret it, I think it's the best phone I've ever had, even some iPhone loyal family members have shown interest and been impressed! :D

I know this isn't applicable to the original poster unless they have another iOS device, but I'm wondering if you could just uncheck your phone number from iMessage addresses before switching? I'm switching in just under 2 weeks but will still have my iPad, I'm reachable for iMessage via 5...

I think it's likely it will get 4.2 and Key Lime Pie in some form at some point, based on the fact that the SII is now getting Jellybean and that's coming up to 2 years old.

Has anyone had problems with Samsung branded cards? I'll be looking to get an SD card and I think I'll avoid SanDisk from reading here and the links, I'm wondering if Samsung is the one to go with?
