Can you use the S8 as a infra red remote control

You may be able to control your tv by downloading an tv remote app and using your wi-fi to control it. I cs5do this with my LG tv by using LG's remote control app.

Does water damage my s8 after breaking it?

Why? Why would you intentionally put water anywhere on your phone?

Going from Galaxy s5 to Nexus 6

I went from the Galaxy S5 to the Nexus 6. I loved the change. Right off the bat you're gonna notice NO Samsung or carrier bloatware... NONE!

    Device Assist app?

I had it installed for a couple months. It's not a useful app.. at all. Doesn't fix anything that might be wrong and only provides very basic information about your phone. Go ahead and install it, but you will probably come to the same conclusion. Also... this is strictly a Google app...

Why I Like the Nexus 6

In MY opinion the Nexus 6 is by far the best Nexus yet and sets the bar high for the next models coming out. I love the size of the screen, the incredible display, pure Android, the smoothness and speed of it AND the front stereo speakers. I don't understand why more flagship devices don't...

Sprint 2x Carrier Aggregation, Spark And The Nexus 6

Thank you for your reply, but I know the Nexus 6 picks up Band 41 (Sprint Spark). 2x Carrier Aggregation capability is different and from what I have read only the Galaxy S6, S6 Edge, Note 4 Edge, HTC 9 and the LG Flex are the only devices have the 2x Carrier Aggregation at this time...

Sprint 2x Carrier Aggregation, Spark And The Nexus 6

Now that Sprint has rolled out Spark to more markets... is the Nexus 6 capable of connecting to this? I read that the Nexus 6 is Spark compatible by being able to connect to band 41, but what is 2x Carrier Aggregation? It seems a handful of devices are able to do this and 3 of them are...

2015 Nexus: LG Nexus 5 or Huawei Nexus 6? Which will you buy?

I would take the LG because I just can't get past that Chinese mass produced products are usually poorly made. Also... not being paranoid but.... how many times have the Chinese hacked US government and corporate computers. I definitely would be concerned about a Chinese made smartphone.

Loss Of Connection With Exclamation Point.

Since the 5.1 update my Nexus 6 on Sprint loses a connection a few times per day. I get an exclamation point. I have read this is specific to users of Sprint and T-mobile. I use Sprint. To correct this.. rather than restart the phone I activate airplane mode for a couple seconds. I was...

    Nexus 6 - dislike??

Definitely a step up from my Samsung Galaxy S5. The Nexus 6 is a great... solid.. performing device. The 5.1 update made it all the better.

    Stock lock screen?

There are no set limits on failed attempts.

    I can't believe how amazing 5.1 is

1 big reason why the Nexus 6 runs much better is because the 5.1 update causes ALL 4 cores of the cpu to operate at the same time. Also the Nexus 6 now uses memory better. No more "memory leak." I can't get over how much better the Nexus 6 is now after the 5.1 update. Alright Google... let's...
