You should try doing a soft reset. I was having the same issue and the Samsung 'Gear app' didn't recognize the watch, but Bluetooth would. 1.) I went into settings -> Connect to different phone. 2.) Then select the checkbox for 'reset watch to connect to the new phone'. The watch will reboot...
