I have the ATT M8, and over the last month or so I've noticed it getting very laggy. I regularly clean junk with Clean Master, but I'm wondering if a factory reset is in order. That being said, if i do the reset, and restore from a back up, wont all of the issues be restored by the back up...

So what do I lose when i do a factory reset? Any way to preserve my angry birds progress? Stuff like that? What are the steps so that I can restore my photos, etc?

Nope, Stock. - - - Updated - - - On May 14th, ATT released a software update for the M8, which among other things, added the Extreme Power Save mode that was on the phone at release in the rest of the world ex USA. I still haven't gotten the update.

I had the same issues with Verizon. Couldnt get it to stop so i got them to take a trade in and cancel my agreement and went to ATT, havent had the problem again.

Just an update. I downloaded an app called Wifi Fixer, and since installing i have not had the issue. Seems its a software issue that will hopefully get fixed down the line!

I had a range of 50, and definitely not that many devices (historically, including friends smartphones, maybe 25 total have ever connected.) I just upped to to 100 so maybe that will help. is it possible to give it a static IP?

No other devices have this issue. I have two hardlined devices, a vonage box and a ATT Microcell.
