    That's what I was hoping to avoid.. Seems like it would be such a simple solution... I'm wondering when the S5 ever receives the Lollipop update, if it will go away... but it's a Samsung device and on Verizon.. so that will probably not be for a long time.

    I don't mind them, however they are not great for a first time user, especially the back button. I could see it being confusing to a first time user, they really don't serve a purpose.

    How is the battery life on the Nexus 5 after an update?

    Re: Battery life in l I got excellent results using the battery saver mode.. I got 21 hours of use and 4.5 hours of on screen time with High Accuracy GPS on. I've never got close to that without it. I am good above average results without it.
