The Sony does seem to outspec the M8, and specs is pretty much what i can go for as far as making a decision. I did try both of them and felt that the m8 fit a little better in my hands, but thats because it's a bit smaller but the side buttons on the z2 are much more well thought for ergnomics...

Thanks! I will see if a thread can be created for to put these two against each other :) There is a thread there but its a few months old and more users have probably got the phone and some updates have been made i believe for the z2 and also the m8, so it will be good the get updated feedback.
