I have a SCH-I605 note 2. Ever since the kitkat update, my USB port on my phone has quit working. It still charges the phone, but my computer no longer sees my phone, nor does my phone say it is connected to the computer. Because of this, I can't even use KIES to back up my phone, or move pics...
