You dont need to unlock anything because you have an i9505, which does not have a locked bootloader. Only the at&t (sgh-i337) and verizon (sch-i545) have locked bootloaders. The rest don't.

If you are rooted you can use any apk manager, titanium backup for example, to remove or freeze the ota apks. You could also use a file manager to remove the apk itself.
