Did you install the samsung drivers first? Also, I dont think motochopper roots a 4.3 stock rom of the i9505. I havent tried it though, so im not sure.

Hidden apps are gone after updating my Galaxy S4 to 4.4.2

Hiding them does not stop them from running in the background or at startup. They probably removed it because it was redundant. If you don't want to see these apps and will never use them, just disable them. Its a more logical approach since it will also disable them as bloatware, instead of...

How to remove the OTA downloaded Kitkat firmware?

Its not a bug, its how it works. Samsung just made it worse. AnandTech | Examining MicroSD changes in Android 4.4 and there are many more articles explaining that. Which variant of the s4 do you have?

    bootloader unlocking

You dont need to unlock anything because you have an i9505, which does not have a locked bootloader. Only the at&t (sgh-i337) and verizon (sch-i545) have locked bootloaders. The rest don't.

I need some help rooting my s4

....... The i9505 does not have a locked bootloader. 100% unlocked. It can be rooted with cf-root on any rom or bootloader version including kitkat since ages ago. It does not require loki, it has no lock anywhere, 0, zero, cero, zilch. It only has a knox flag, that will be triggered when a...

how to find USB mass storage

From the internal user storage, you need linux, then make an image of the data partition of the phone, mount it in linux, then use a linux application to scan for deleted files. I havent done it, I dont remember where I read they did it that way.

    Max SD card size?

Most big capacity sd cards I've seen, like 64gb, are either class 10, or UHS 1, rarely any 6. The price difference between a lower class and top of the same size is usually negligible, so just pick the fastest, it kind of implies better quality too.

how to find USB mass storage

There is no usb mass storage option for the S4, unless you root it and install an app from the play store or xda (kitkat) that switches between MTP and mass storage. But even then, mass storage would only be available for the sd card and not the internal user memory. The internal user memory is...

    Max SD card size?

This happened not because the card was slow or of an incompatible size, but because the card you bought was either a knock-off from ebay/amazon or somewhere else or damaged internally. That's what happens when they fake the size of the card by modifying... lets call them internal 'parameters'...

    AT&T S4: Downgrade back to 4.2.2?

Does it really say SGH-I317? If so, then they sent you a galaxy note II O_o I317UCAMA4 is a galaxy note II build. Not S4. That would explain why its not on 4.2.2 edit: Oh, you mentioned Note 2 when you were explaining the insurance thing. Didn't catch that one. I assumed it was an S4 because...

    AT&T S4: Downgrade back to 4.2.2?

That's interesting, I thought all at&t s4s shipped with 4.2.2 at launch. Considering MDB and MDL are 4.2.2 and I thought MDB was the initial release of the ROM. But yes, do what metle geek said, root it and get titanium backup then freeze/uninstall (with backup) any system app that contains...

Prevent automatic upgrade to 4.4.2 ATT s4 ?

If you are rooted you can use any apk manager, titanium backup for example, to remove or freeze the ota apks. You could also use a file manager to remove the apk itself.

Galaxy S4: Firmware Upgrade Encountered an Issue After An Attempt To Revert Back to Stock TouchWiz

Re: Firmware Upgrade Encountered an Issue After An Attempt To Revert Back to Stock TouchWiz On knox sometimes you have to. It does not show up on the launcher and it needs to be installed again from the play store. Its one of the ways people managed to root 4.3 on xda. It needed to be...

Galaxy S4: Firmware Upgrade Encountered an Issue After An Attempt To Revert Back to Stock TouchWiz

Re: Firmware Upgrade Encountered an Issue After An Attempt To Revert Back to Stock TouchWiz Rooting it is a bit different than usual if you want to stay in touchwiz, you need to get rid of the knox module. You can do a CF-root flash with odin, then go to play store and download supersu, launch...
