Lost the Mic button on the stock keyboard. It shows on the keyboard customization screen as default, with the option to replace it with the handwriting icon, the settings icon, or the clipboard icon, but the default in fact appears to be the handwriting tool, and I can't find the Mic anywhere...

Re: Is Battery Life Not Important? As with all phone models, battery life on the G4 varies wildly from user to user. I average 5 hours SOT with my brightness always set at 75%. But I consistently have a strong 4G signal, which makes all the difference.

Good luck here, with the black leather back, but from what I've heard of the durability (or lack thereof) of the brown, I don't think I'd want to run it naked. That said, I am thinking about getting an Amzer bumper case to protect the edges but still leave that gorgeous leather on display.

Dammit. Just tried the Google Keyboard with and without the number row, and while I love the increased accuracy of the standard GK, adding the number row makes the letters so tiny that I'm getting as many mistypes as I was with the LG keyboard. And I REALLY want a number row. Too bad GK isn't...

Re: G4 screen issue It's a defective backlight. My first G4 had the same problem, and another forum member posted the same problem on a thread I created (it's in here somewhere, but I didn't bother to hunt it down before starting this reply). You can have it replaced.
