try disabling all animations. windows animations scale, transition animation scale and animator duration scale in developer options. This worked for me(been about 30 days now). Before that I downgraded to kit kat 4.4.4. that did not help the black screen of death/sleep of death it occurred again...

yea. it works i flashed mine two days ago. rooted with CF-autoroot on 5.1.1.

^yea i think i bought mine around the same time. I was very satisfied. Then around lollipop update started getting "sleep of deaths" wasnt super bothered by it mostly unless it happened when my alarm was supposed to wake me up. then very recently my digitizer was acting up with ghost touches...

i unchecked show notifications on google play services. It worked for me on 4.4.4 kit kat. nexus 4

Re: Nexus 4 soft keys have stopped working with no warning this problem started happening to my nexus 4 about a week ago. So i just rooted my phone and installed "pie control" really didn't like that so i installed GMD gestures. I kinda like it a lot more then on screen buttons. Decent work...

Re: S6 edge - black screen - no response Try disabling all animations with developer options. Currently trying that "fix" after i seen a samsung s owner posted it somewhere. It's been only 3 days though and i haven't had a "SOD". If it was actually the sleep of death that is your problem...

was gonna post a thread about the same situation. glad it was just a patch thought something bad but installed any way because i thought i could have been a patch.

if i were to buy some earbuds, still might, from some research monoprice 8320 seems to be very good for the price(cheap). I don't really like the styling, over the ear, and supposedly has some wire noise.

bought my phone used with the google nexus orb. then bought wall charger. sold the orb. Just no need for it. Wall charger just faster and doesn't heat up my phone.

Same exact situation i was in about a month ago. If buying new i would definitely wait. The nexus 5 would be definitely better and i wouldn't doubt same exact price or just a $50 bump in price. If buying used, if you can find a cheap price like i did for mine ($150) i would get the nexus 4.

Yea i noticed something like that it was like a bright colored dots up and down line in when i was using phone outside. I believe it went across from left to right like it was some kind of scanner or something. I bought mine used so i was concerned but everything functions though.

Don't know exactly when but i have a notification that says"system update downloaded" so i guess i have the jelly bean 4.3 update. Just had to post in this thread. Brandon, MS USA. :D
