I used CronMOD-INT2EXT+. The first boot takes a really long time after doing it.

Updated and rooted using the instructions, installed HydroRom, everything seems to be working fine. I have 3g, phone service, etc etc. I was using the CM7 ZVD on here, which I liked, but it was getting really crashy so I decided it was time to try a different rom.

I figured it out, I was stupidly running through the adb shell while I was still connected to the computer with USB transfer, so the phone couldn't see the SD card.
