    Why there is no "Wipe data/factory reset" option in recovery mode of some Android devices?

    I have the same problem, I have a Nokia 3.4 that I can't remember the passcode, haven't used it for a few years. It only has 3 options in recovery mode. Reboot system now, enter fastboot and poweroff. Is it possible to reinstall Android OS or is there a way around this?
