I have, but it's over 50% more expensive than the Fire or PlayBook. A regularly updated OS or gaming support won't be major things for my Mother, so unless I'm missing anything, it's advantages are cancelled out a fair bit.

First off, this isn't for me... it's for my Mother. A bit of background, she's never owned a smartphone before, but is quite at home with feature phones and their OS's (Bada, S40). Also fine to operate a Windows 7 PC. So year, we're not talking complete tech incompetence here, but not tech...

Purchased the phone on Saturday, brand new. As I've been unable to use WiFi (and don't want to use data to download an app), I've only got the pre-installed rubbish.

I can get access tomorrow I expect. I'll report back on whether I can connect or not.

I've yet to attempt to connect it to another WiFi, but I'm able to connect just fine with my Android tablet (Arnova 10 G2, 2.3) and my LG Windows Phone.

Bumped. 'Cos I prefer my problems solved.

Not connecting to my router (192.168.1.1). Odd thing is, if I turn WiFi off and on again, I can load a webpage. If I try to load another then it just refuses saying there's no internet connection (still connected to WiFi). All the while, it's connected to Google's servers (all green). 2.3.6

Bump. Same problem on an LG E400 (Optimus L3). Care to throw me a line?
