ive actually had good luck with it since it updated. no longer is Device Idle been my problem with battery life...usually it was at 30 to 40% of the reason for my battery drain on my phone. now its sits at 4 and 6 % all the time. I did a reset on my phone after i updated and been good.

i hadn't been able to download the last two updates, but when i got home turned on my wifi suddenly the update happen...not sure why? but i called verizon about it, the might have possibly forced it to my phone since i was having the sim card problem as well

i should add...im from washington state if that helps lol and used to only be with uscell...but left to get better phone, but when i saw they were getting this i had to come back...plus my phone bill being $30 cheaper

got this phone after being with verizon and using the maxx...got this phone knowing it would be 3G for a while in my area...but NO reception half the time...and half the time i cant even can't get any internet connection ...talked to a rep today from uscell and samsung. was told there were...

i have read this is NOT an offical update, after updating it last night, my Facebook, and email were hacked...i just got this phone and had problems with everything since downloading it. if anyone has any information, please say so...cause i think this is a Hacked update

i just read somewhere that its not an offical update from samsung, after i downloaded it, my Facebook account was hacked

i disabled all the junk that was on my phone. I went with Fast reboot, it's even helped with my battery life. Went from just 12 hrs on a full charge, to being on my phone and getting almost a day and a half out of it.

ive tried the above stuff and nothing seems to be working...had been working fine for a long time, and then went on a jog and the head phone jack wont work at all...also reported it to motorola

i had the same problem as well...i have a posting on here bout it, and another person told me to download power controls, its helped me very much with cutting down the background data and the IO eating up most of the battery.

to be honest im not sure, i think even when i had back ground data restricted, it was still doing it. turning off my 3G while im at work, and only putting it on when im actually needing it to, dipped my data usage finally. not sure if its just my phone or maybe the update didn't work fully...

i disabled it on my phone, i wouldn't even have it open, and it kept popping up that it closed out would you like to report this...happen about every 10 mins...

id like to say since i downloaded the power control app. and disabling a lot of the other stuff...my data has considerably dropped off big time...id hope more who are having the same problem read this thread and do the same if you find your phone using up back ground data

i went a head and downloaded the power control thing, gonna give that a try as well and track after today my data usage and see if that works...i do appreciate the help!

i already did a factory reset, cause after updating it, my phone would shut off automatically from time to time, and when was working it would get really hot even when i wasn't on my phone

not sure, i looked on a verizon website community and did a few things that this guy had done some i already had already disabled: Amazon Kindle Facebook Google Play Books Google Play Movies Google Play Music Google + MOG Music My Verizon Mobile (the largest consumer of Bloatware Data) Netflix...
