I have this same issue. Any attempt to update my rooted LG Optimus F3 results in a dead android (android falls over during update). I'm okay with not having the latest android version, but it'd be nice to be able to disable the popup prompting me to install updates. Anyone?

Get a replacement battery. I have two LG Optimus F3's. The battery should have incredibly long life.

I've got the same problem with a rooted LG OPtimus F3 on Virgin Mobile. I performed a factory reset, and still get the dead android (android falls over during attempted update). Am I correct to assume a factory reset does not un-root my phone?

I was successful rooting my LG Optimus F3 with Saferoot, but have found quite a few people running into "Kernel" errors. Sometimes Towelroot works, but I recently found Kingo and it seems to be working great. I'll post a tutorial shortly.

Sounds like the scheduled quiet mode is set to turn itself on every day. Great feature! I wish restaurants, theaters, and cars had a device by which to force phones into quiet mode by proximity.
