FOLLOWUP - I ended up smashing that piece of **** LG Spectrum 2 on the floor about a month ago - and I'm not even kidding. I spent close to 9 months correcting text messages because the calibration on that mother ****er was horrible... **** you Asurion!!

FWIW - Copying to an SD card will most likely yield 2.0 speeds... I'm guessing you'll see SUPERIOR speeds when copying to the actual Phone storage... -out

Just side-load the Google Now launcher and you'll be set.

The first time, they sent me a refurbished GNex 32GB. The screen was washed out, so I requested they send me a new phone. They were out of refurbs at that point, so I ended up getting a new LG Spectrum II. It's a pretty descent phone, but it comes with a lot of bloatware and LG's stupid...

Anybody happen to know what they're sending out to replace the Galaxy Nexus 16GB? My replacement should be here tomorrow and am just curious if they're still sending out refurbished GNexs. ~Sent old-school style from a PC.
