I got two out of three devices from that list into India from China. I just use GearBest. And yes, the phones work on Indian LTE networks (I'm on Airtel, and 4G works fine). As for customs, you'll shell out around ₹4,500 on average. So factor that into your buying decision.

I was looking on Amazon, but it looks like Motorola isn't selling the charger directly (at least not the official one). Your best bet would be just to get a Tronsmart QC 3.0 charger. The one I like is the W3PTA.

Used the G5 for about two months without a screen protector. Screen doesn't scratch easily, and it is resilient to tumbles.

I used the Moto E3 Power in India for a while, and it is a decent $100 device. The Power variant has a massive 3500mAh battery, and the 5-inch HD display is a definite improvement over the qHD panel from last year. Camera is also good in normal lighting.

LG is going to bring it to India (unlike the V10), so I'm looking forward to getting it when it launches. Used the G4 for most of last year, and the G5 for a while this year. I'm not a fan of the software, but LG sure does know how to ship a great camera.

Being a flagship has nothing to do with updates. In this case, you're probably right though. Motorola's already abandoning the Moto G 2015, so it is likely that the Moto G4 will follow suit in a year's time.

Don't know about Phab 2 Plus releasing in India, but the Mi Max is a great phone if you're planning to use it for multimedia. I've been using it for a month now, and it is excellent.

Pokemon Go is likely coming to India sometime this year, but for those that have sideloaded the APK, is the game working for you? I'm in Hyderabad, and I don't see any PokeStops, Gyms, or Pokemon. It's just an empty grid. Is that the case in Mumbai and Delhi as well?
