ManiacJoe, it comes as #2 , warning with a "Install Anayway" button for the very first attempt to install. When I hit the install anway button it does get install. But then whenver I try to re-install the app from second time onwards, it just shows message "App not installed" Thanks for responding.

True. But what about developer builds? What if a developer needs to share preview / test builds to customer/tester? Any suggestions on that. Is turning off Play protection only option in such cases? Thanks in advance.
