    Choppy touch input?

Whenever I swipe or scroll slowly I notice the touchscreen would freeze up for a split second or so and then 'jump' to where my finger is. It's not that obvious but really makes it hard to play games, especially when aiming in shooters like PUBG Mobile. I don't remember having this issue on...

    Touch latency problem when gaming

No I don't use a screen protector. Two factory resets and an Odin stock rom re-flash and the problem remains, it's driving me nuts. Posted via the Android Central App

    Touch latency problem when gaming

I've uploaded a video of it on reddit, you'll find it here: https://www.reddit.com/r/PUBGMobile/comments/9f7okk/does_anyone_else_have_this_jerky_recoil_control/?utm_source=reddit-android I'm running the latest 8.0 Oreo firmware and a factory reset didn't work Posted via the Android Central App

Touch lag in games on moto z

Same thing happens on my Note 8 and I seriously don't know what to do. What Android version are you on? Posted via the Android Central App

    Touch latency problem when gaming

My Note 8 has always been in near perfect condition yet I've been having an odd issue with the touch screen sensitivity noticeable when playing games such as PUBG Mobile or Bullet Force. Fine swiping movements don't register smoothly and as a result my charcter's movement and aim are 'jerky'...

Should I just abandon the idea of a screen protector?

I've gone through at least 15 or so screen protectors in the 10 months I've had my S7 edge, and every tempered glass one I've tried has the same issues: 1. Poor touch responsitivity, on the edges and especially when typing. 2. Poor quality adhesive allowing dust and lint buildup causing...

Why is my battery so bad???

Definitely a software issue. Install and use GSAM Battery Monitor for more insight regarding what's causing Android OS to drain the battery. Try updating the software if possible. If not, go for a cache wipe. As a last resort you could also try a factory reset after backing up your stuff with...

Micro SD HC card not detected.

I dunno. It's barely been used. Posted via the Android Central App

Micro SD HC card not detected.

I found a pretty new-looking 8 GB Micro SD HC card lying around, but I can't for the life of me get my S7 edge or my laptop to detect it. I have a SanDisk Micro SD HC USB adapter but it's still not being read by the PC. An older regular 2 GB Micro SD card works just fine though. What could be...

Galaxy S6 getting hot near power button and sim tray

Same problem here on my S6 Duos. The part of the phone where the power button and SIM tray are is nearest to the processor, and you should avoid using Mobile Data too much and check for rogue apps straining the RAM and CPU. It solved the issue for me. Posted via the Android Central App

    S6 to Note 5?

I guess it might be worth it after all, but what about the similarities and daily use? I'm almost completely bored with my S6 and don't want to cash in on something that feels nearly the same to use. All opinions appreciated! Posted via the Android Central App

I like my Note 7, but I love my Note 5

Gorilla Glass 5 for added durability, 17% larger 3500 mAh battery, IP 68 dust and water resistance, f1.7 aperture on both cameras for superior low-light photos and videos, new Exynos 8890 processor for better performance and quicker software updates to name a few. Like I said, it's your choice...

I like my Note 7, but I love my Note 5

Some things need a little getting used to, and about the edge screen sensitivity, you should consider the possibility of having a defective device and get a replacement if possible. It's up to you in the end, but I say it's best to give the Note 7 a little more time to see if your experience...

Anyone notice light bleeding from the sides?

Since AMOLED displays don't bleed light like LCDs, I'm starting to think that the light might be caused by internal reflection of light in the glass itself near the edges of the display because of the curvature. A case should cover it up just fine. Posted via the Android Central App

    S6 to Note 5?

Hey all, I've got a 9 month-old Galaxy S6 and I'm looking to upgrade soon; The 5.1" and 2550 mAh battery just really don't cut it for me anymore. I originally considered the Note 7 and S7 edge, but I'm more on the fence about picking up a Note 5. Are the two phones really that similar, and is...
