I can't remember the model I had before the 3GS, but it was a Samsung and my dad is currently uses it. There's nothing 'smart' about it!! ;)

I'm just thankful that the micro USB cable is so generic and is used in a lot of electrical goods, like Kindles and the like!

I've been through 2 USB cables and 1 mains plug adaptor in the last year or so, even though I don't move either the plug or cable away from where it's plugged in by my bedside table. I think the accessories (especially the ones that come with the phone) are pretty crappy in quality.

What's the objective view on the iPhone 5 vs Galaxy S4? What's the tail of the tape? Not being a great techy, I'd be interested what the impartial view is (taking off your Android hats! ;-) )

I use the AVG Free app on my S3. Being extremely shallow, I use this particular app because I like the widget that shows the mobile data use percentage for the month. I've never had a virus on my phone, mind you I can't pin that down to whether the app is doing a job or not!
