I tried that already and it offers a direct dialing shortcut to a CONTACT only, but not the dialer itself. Any other ideas?

Hi - I did something accidentally to my LG Optimus S recently (I have no idea what!) and the Call key icon that was in the dock (along with the application tab and the Sprint ID pack icon) just disappeared and I cannot for the life of me figure out how to get it back. All that's in there now...

I just used APP2Sd (at the play store) and moved all my Apps to my phone and then removed my SD card and then moved all my apps back onto my new SD card when I put it in. I honestly did this because I'm brand new to my smartphone and I didn't know how to save my apps on my computer! i know...

Mine didn't change automatically either, so I just shut it down and back on and the time came on correctly. I was pretty surprised myself that it didn't change automatically like my former dumb phone. Odd.

I use the Toggle Widgets Pack (from Android Market, now called Google Play) to turn off my 3G - altho it only takes me directly to the settings without having to go through all the motions. It also allows you to turn off Bluetooth and Wireless, etc right from the home screen. I love that widget.
