Onix is my ROM until we get a source build from 2.2. It has been solid with no issues at all. Battery life is good and temp has been good with P3 kernel 7slot LV with 125mHz bottom end. Believe me when I say I've tried them all, lol. My droid is about wore out lol..

Anybody know of any good music widgets for rooted droid that will actually show album art? I see some on some themes, but I don't want the whole theme, just the music app. I've used adb a little, but not sure I'm confident enough to try to rip one. TIA for any help.. Hawk

OK, if you're using Clockwork, you don't have to extract. Just put the zip file in the root of the sdcard. Boot into recovery, select the install zip from sd and find the file. Hit the camera button and let it load it up. When it goes back to recovery menu, select reboot phone now. Hawk

My maps are downloaded but when you go to market it doesn't say it is. They work fine. I am running Launcher Pro and have not had the problems with the stock returning. Do a reboot and it should ask you which launcher you would like to use. I always check the box and select Launcher Pro. FWIW...

Do you have Clockwork Mod installed? Do a battery pull and make sure you are disconnected from any power source. Then when you power it back up, slide it open and hold down the "x" key until you see the light. You should then boot into the recovery menu. From there you can go to nandroid restore...

Someone has put Fabolous's NexTheme for Froyo over BB Froyo v.01. I installed NextFro wiped everything twice, added the p3 1.2 kernel and I've had no issues. Market works fine, wifi stays on for me at least and Chrome to Phone is good. Maps work as well.. Credit to Fabolous for his themes...

BB FRF57 v.01 Ok hats off to Pete.. This one has the same speed as before with lin and quad, but the phone itself seems snappier. It's very solid, no reboots even on installation. Metamorph is now fixed and I've had no issues with the market. Chrome to phone still works fine. Sheesh...
