This looks like the case with Samsung Galaxy S4 too. When I remove encryption, the bluetooth works fine. I have posted a detailed question on this forum, but I cant paste the link as I have very less post count. Its good that HTC fixed it. No clue when Samsung is going to fix it.

Hi Is there any compatibility issue between Sony SBH-80 Bluetooth Headset and Samsung Galaxy S4? The Play/Pause and Prev/Next buttons of Sony SBH-80 do not work with Samsung Galaxy S4. Only the call Receive/Reject and volume Up/Down buttons work. What could be the reason? Has anybody come...
