Since Aug 1 2014 I've been using a free Web-based service that supports two-way syncing between your Outlook and Google accounts call "synqYa". Does the job for me for free. I only need to sync my work calendar to my personal phone. So far "knock on wood", tool working great.

I did clear the cache for both contacts and phone. And I also followed the instructions to swipe at the right of the contact picture which works. Big thanks to both team members for the quick response and precise nfo. Thanks!
