    "screen on" -no root?

Thanks for the clarification. I haven't gotten around trying it yet, but I will (still very much a noob at all of this!)

    "screen on" -no root?

I probably worded my question wrong (or completely misunderstand your answer), but what I meant was an app that turns the screen back on after it has been "put to sleep" due to lack of activity. But a further look at the Google App Store reveas there are several more of those that do not seem to...

    "screen on" -no root?

For my Nexus 7 2013 I am looking for an app to easily wake the screen without having to use the power button. There appear to be several in the Google store, but those I checked, all seem to require root privileges. Does this mean this is impossible on an unrooted device or am I simply missing...

    Nexus 7: completely frozen?

Only because I owned an unruly eBook reader that would occasionally freeze up completely and weirdly enough would unfreeze when connected to my PC, I had the idea to use this little unexplained trick on my Nexus as well, otherwise I'd probably still be stuck with a frozen Nexus. That's why I...

    Nexus 7: completely frozen?

Thanks/ So there are no hidden tricks to power down the Nexus? I ask, because I did already try keeping its power button pressed for more than 10 seconds and that didn't seem to work at the time. Will indeed have to take a look at the installed apps.

    Nexus 7: completely frozen?

Yesterday my one-month old Google Nexus 7 2013 froze completely, not responding to any touch and not even allowing me to power down by pressing the off-key. Eventually plugging it into my computer helped me regain control, but now I really would want to know, what could have caused this, how it...

    RSS feed reader

That's good to know, but leaves the original question largely unanswered, obviously.

Thanks for the suggestion. I'll check it out!

    RSS feed reader

Okay after deciding on adopting Dolphin as my primary browser, for reasons outlined in another thread (spoiler alert: it's all about flash and html5 ;) ), I now am looking for a good RSS feed reader, preferably one that opens "automagically", whenever I click a new RSS link in my browser. Needs...

    Incapsula

I've pestered the team over at Crackberry about this already. so I do know I repeat myself, but this whole episode would warrant a statement on a global (the whole of Mobile Nations) scale as it affected presumably everyone and sent out false malware warnings to users, which was a bit scary... ;)

    flash html5 free browser

Just to let you all know how this worked out: Dolphin does what I want it to do, so for now I am happy. Onward to the next conundrum... :p

    flash html5 free browser

Thank you both. Will have to take a look at UC & Dolphin. "Puffin free" is out of the picture due to its weird "supports Adobe Flash during the daytime everyday" limitation, making it highly unlikely for me to purchase the commercial version.. ;)

    flash html5 free browser

New to Android (and Android Centall, hi!), I was wondering if there's any free browser that "does" flash and html5 "equally" well... ;)
