I'd say from personal experience they are a contender. I use a huawei mate book laptop and it's pretty cool how it's able to connect so easy with my phone. I've tried the wireless earbuds, they were as easy as airpods to set up. Just lacking the find function apple offer...

I do like the p40 Pro, it's not as big an issue I thought it would be. But I can relate, I'm notorious for forgetting my purse and relied on the pay services and even more devestating is the Costa app not working for me. On the plus it means I'm always carrying my purse and checking for it

If she's an iPhone user I doubt she's overly invested in Google, I know I wasn't. Saying that there may be issues with needing to phone clone certain apps, do you have an android phone you can do that from?
