This thread has quickly become my favorite. I was having issues keeping my phone alive for 16 hours and I now think I can easily make it 48 or longer (not a heavy user). That Green Power app is exactly what I needed.

I too had issue with the Pre tethering app. I'll definitely try this one when I travel again. I prefer the idea of USB tethering because the phone won't drain while I'm jacking around on my laptop.

A lot less play than my old Palm Pre.

I too am a Pre convert and the snappiness of the processor is by far the most noticeable improvement. I really haven't put the battery to the test since I sit at a desk all day. The Pre was pretty good about battery life though. My wife has the Big Ass Evo and she's always complaining about...

I just picked up the Slide and upgraded from the Palm Pre. I'm digging it so far but was wondering if there's a way to make the clock display when it's charging. The Palm Pre made for a nice little desk clock while it was chillin' on the touchstone all day.
