Try the app Ubersync for Facebook. I've been using it for a while now. You can schedule when you want it to sync, or just do a manual sync when you feel like it, as I do. Works like a charm. Posted via Android Central App

Might try using an app such as My Backup to back up your texts. Then email the back up file of the conversation. Wacky roundabout way of getting it done, but it might work. Just a thought. Posted via Android Central App

When in doubt, reboot the phone. Turn it off, then back on. A couple times with this phone, and with my past droid phones, I would lose connection, yet my data would still be enabled. A quick reboot seemed to always fix the problem. I hope it's as simple as that for you, too.

It's LTE/CDMA/EvDo. I just looked that up. I usually forget, so instead of using the Widgetsoid switcher, I'll go settings>mobile networks>Network Mode...that brings up the Global, LTE/CDMA, GSM/UMTS selections, just to be sure.
