Is this case easily removable? Im constantly swapping batteries but if this case is easy to take on and off I like the protection.

No you can swap in & out the SD card with the battery still in.

Would like the protection of the Otterbox but with how often I am swapping batteries it isn't practical for me =(

You must have a defective charging cradle because mine changes to green from red when fully charged.
