I just got a MXq pro android tv box and it seems to work good but when I tried to run the sound through the a/v output to my amp to use the surround sound it doesn't work. Any advise would be appreciated

Ok I have the plex media server up and running, I have the port forwarding done and I can access the server on my xoom but I am unable to play anything there.Did I miss something? Any help will be greatly appreciated.:-!
