The annoying thing to me is that the tablet I have is clearly listed in their compatible devices so I feel it should be able to connect. Not found a solution other than to upgrade my phone.

Unfortunately this didn't work :-( I'm trying to connect the Note 10.1 2014 tablet because my current phone is the original Note and so can't run the required version of Android. The tablet is on the list of compatible devices so I'm not sure why there's a problem.

So for Christmas I've been given a Gear S, supposedly compatible with my Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 tablet. I downloaded the app with no problems, I am able to pair the device separately, but within the Gear Manager app it cannot find my Gear S. Can anyone provide possible solutions to this problem...
