I wouldn't worry. A few people here, including me, have had the problem out of thousands of phones sold. If you do have the problem, the fix is easy, exchange if your carrier will, or return to Samsung to have the main board replaced. The Note 5 is the best phone I have ever owned.

Sounds like the same problem I had. Exchange it or return it to Samsung for repair. They replaced the main board in my Note 5 and bluetooth has worked fine for months now.

My bluetooth is still working well after nearly a month since Samsung replaced the main phone board. I have all the current updates. I don't think it is a software problem, but rather a rare hardware problem. I'd go for a replacement or repair right away.

I use a old (std charge rate) Qi charger. About a week since main board replacement and BT is still strong. Knock on wood. Posted via the Android Central App

I don't think it is a common problem. Only a few people here and a couple on XDA forums. Out of millions of phones sold. No one here has reported the problem again after an exchange or repair. I've been using my repaired phone for several days now and the BT range is still excellent.

Yes, the Apple Store is nice, but all in all, I don't regret going to Android phones. I haven't heard back from them how long it will take to fix my phone and get it back. It should be getting to the repair center tomorrow.
