Woke up this morning to a dead gnex... still on the charger... went through everything as far as battery pull, sim card pull, changed out oem charger, tried a different fully charged battery. Can't get the phone to active at all... not even into boot loader or recovery.

The only real one that I see is you. And I don't mean you specifically but the user in general.
Ask yourself this question... how will I react if I flash something and the wheels come off? Some pretty serious issue that renders the device inoperable? At least temporarily...
