The biggest gripe I have with the Aria that I have is the small amount of on board memory. 185mb isn't a lot when you start downloading a lot of apps.... but this should be solved whenever the Froyo update comes out for the Aria. But until then I'll continue to deal with the low memory...

They're both great phones. There deal breaker for Mr was there amount of available apps. Android has far more apps than Palm.

Been using Handscent for the past couple of weeks on my HTC Aria no issues all. Have been receiving all my texts, picture, and video messages.

Swiftkey is pretty good keyboard app. More accurate than the stock keyboard IMO. Been using SlideIT - similar to Swype and loved it. Can't wait for Swype to be released fort the Aria.
