You have to download the app from a 3rd party source, and then manually run it in the after each reboot so it runs in the background, but yes it works absolutely fine. There is no reason for AT&T to block the unlocked phones from seeing it, other than they want to punish people who didn't buy...

I have an unlocked phone and have been getting the error the phone can't find the update servers for weeks. at least it sounds like a patch is incoming, but it really sucks that LG puts the unlocked phone behind the AT&T release.

Nothing ony unlocked version. I'm disappointed the carrier version is getting updates ahead of the unlocked version as that is counterintuitive.

I wouldn't say "no one cares" - I ordered my V35 from Amazon on Tuesday and its supposed to arrive today. So I think you might get more responses in a few days if you wait. I have AT&T and am happy to try and figure out how to do WiFi calling (never had that on previous phones) and report back.

For the record I just sent my just under one year phone to ZTE for repair this morning. They paid shipping both ways to Texas so hopefully things will work out for that and by then they will be back in line to issue updates.
