Thanks very much NJRonbo. Yes, this procedure did work although I needed to enable IMAP through iCloud and pushed from there. Works like a charm! It's great to have the GN3 and still have access to many years of old .mac email.

Noob here. Does anyone know if there is a way to have my still-in-use mac mail (.mac) seamlessly push to my new gmail account? I don't care if my mobile responses carry the new gmail/other android email system's signature, just that I actually have real time access to the Mac box. I suppose...
