    LG G4 on AT&T - Have I just experienced bootloop v2.0?

Hey there boys and girls, My first G4 was replaced under warranty due to the all too common "boot loop" issue. Fast forward a few months to this morning. I checked my email, went into the kitchen for the first cup of coffee and come back and see the round blue AT&T globe logo on a white...

The kinda-official LG G4 bootloop thread

The replacement G4 just arrived. Low and behold it's a 505. Hopefully that might indicate that it was a prior "boot looper" that was actually correctly repaired by LG. We shall see!

The kinda-official LG G4 bootloop thread

It wouldn't shock me if LG was "recycling" old problematic 505 and 506 MoBos into 508s and 509s. At the end of the day, all they care about is the almighty dollar.

Verizon won't replace it for you? Don't they offer at least a one year warranty/defective exchange of some kind?

The kinda-official LG G4 bootloop thread

My trusty G4 which has served me flawlessly since 8/15 went into the dreaded boot loop tailspin last night. This phone is a 505. Why am I not seeing USB "connection type" with Lollipop? *Resolved*

Re: Why am I not seeing USB "connection type" pop up on my LG G2 with 5.02? Never mind. I found it. When you plug in the USB cable a new icon appears in the notification bar. Pull the thing down and you change USB connection type.

Why am I not seeing USB "connection type" with Lollipop? *Resolved*

My LG G2 on AT&T originally shipped with Android 4.42. When I would attach it to my PC (Win 7 Pro 64 bit), the phone would pop up a window giving my several options for the type of connection I wanted. I have upgraded the phone to 5.02 and that pop up is gone. The PC does see the phone as...
