Well there's a report on Android Central today that they are beta testing Oreo on the Mate 9, so that looks hopeful.

Finally got 7.0 yesterday too.

From my experience, I doubt whether they have an answer for ANYTHING! If it's any consolation I'm still waiting for Nougat for my UK unbranded LG G5 SE, and they can't tell me if or when I'll get it

Update: I tried emailing the General Manager of LG UK today, and surprisingly received a reply, although it doesn't really help very much. Here's what he said:

Still nothing here in the UK. LG Support is being as useless as ever with their information - or rather, lack of it.

I'm in the UK with an unbranded H840, and I'm still waiting for Nougat. I've contacted LG UK who have given me very vague info - basically "it IS coming but we have no idea when". I wonder if it is anything to do with the numerous reports of battery problems by people who have received the update.

I've just contacted LG again and have received another useless reply as follows: Apart from my name NOT being Jamie and my phone NOT being a G4, we are nowhere nearer getting even a rough date for Nougat. I'd be interested to know whether anyone else in the UK is still waiting, and whether...

I sent LG a message a couple of days ago ago and received this rather vague reply:

Don't rely on this information, but I've read in the past that if you charge a battery to around 70%, seal it in polythene and put it in the fridge it will last for several years. Perhaps someone who knows about these things can tell me if I'm talking rubbish.

I bought an unlocked LG G5 SE (H840) as a Christmas present for myself, and I haven't had the OTA update either. My software is V10a-EUR-XX. Perhaps an email or phone call to LG after the Christmas holidays might help.

Re: Moto X 2014 battery goes from 20% to nothing I've been having problems too for the last few months. Here's a typical example of how the battery nosedives from over 30% to nothing in no time at all. Sometimes I'll pick the phone up and find it's dead; other times I'll actually be using it...

The standard email app on my wife's Samsung S6 has a simple option to resize photo attachments to 70%, 30% or 10% of their original size. The email app on my Moto X (2014) doesn't do this (in fact I haven't seen it before on any of my phones), so I'm wondering if there's a third party email app...
