I believed it has to do with your Settings - > Display - > View Mode. It has Small, Medium and Large. Some app will shows incompatible depending on what's your setup. That setting is essentially the DPI setting. I had the same issue with Amazon app being incompatible after changing the View...

I like TouchPal keyboard. You can add the number keys and has lots of customization. Further more, you can swipe in different languages too
