sounds like a dodgy BT connection. Have you got another BT device you can pair with your phone to test for dropouts? Or another phone to test to rule out the GF2?

When you swipe down from the main screen, there's a status right at that top that tells you if it's connected via BT or disconnected. Next time this happens, see if it's switching between connected/disconnected. It seems to buzz for both statues so you'll need to check a few times in a row.

This happens to me when it connects and disconnects from Bluetooth with my phone. Started noticing it as it happens in 'do not disturb' mode and couldn't work out what it was until I realised that it would be when I was moving around and leaving the range of my phone's BT. Can get really...
