I also have Verizon. Settings-Device Management-Battery (then hit the 3 dots in upper right-hand corner)-advanced settings.

Nevermind I found out why it was greyed out. I had tracking Auto Focus enabled.

Once again messages is not listed on my list for notifications for my Samsung Galaxy Gear s3

So I just got a note 8 and I do not get notifications for Samsung messages on the watch.

Do not have Samsung Messages listed on my list for notifications

When I use Samsung messages app my notifications do not show up on the watch. That's why I use Textra as my sms app

Does the notifications come through on your gear watch using the Samsung messages app?
