100% right you device will charge with the low amp unit but will take much longer n you may fine the battery will not last as long.
Also if u try and change to a longer cable from charger to unit u will also see the same problem slow charge

Best option is to buy a sdcard 32 or 64gb then move all personal files there, do this for more than 1 reason.
If u have a problem were u need to wipe u note all files you put on will be there.
Keep your internal storage from running out off space.
Keep an eye out for things like games etc that...
Ok let mi get this right pls correct mi if I am wrong you give a thumbs up to the above?
This is the same as what I suggested but with out using any extra apps.
Can u tell mi the difference.

If he had to format the sdcard to fat32 that sounds like if you have a pc then you don't have the extfat add on to your pc.
This breaks the fat32 file limitations.

Re: Not charging?
Try slowly moving the charge usb both ends do it slow n softly you dont want to damage the cable jus check for breakage.
After a while charge cable can be come faulty

Re: Not charging?
Well said.
For those that want a longer charge cable dont extended the usb lead
A simple solution is to change the adapter that plugs into the mains with a standard mains lead the type that found on say an old portable tape deck or the type used on the new shape ps3
