The Prevail is a really nice phone to have. But it is a lot better when you root it. I rooted my and now I can't stop using it.

Yes you can Wifi tether your Prevail. But you have to root your phone. I rooted my phone and Wifi tether it with Barnacle. I'm able to use my laptop and also play MW2 online with my PS3.
